South Park under 9’s went down 1-0 in the Epsom and Ewell League Cup Final. After a nervous start South Park piled on the pressure and had four chances to equalise in the last ten minutes but couldn’t deliver the all important goal. South Park are sponsored by Parcel2ship. Debbie Caunce, marketing manager, said ‘It’s great to be able to put something into the community and to help kids keep active. You never know, one of these lads may play for England one day’. |

In 2009, DHL made “significant progress” in its worldwide drive to achieve sustainable development according to it’s corporate responsibility report issued recently. The company improved its Carbon Efficiency Index by three points, handled around 1,300 tons of relief supplies during a large number of missions carried out in earthquake-stricken areas, began in early 2009 to support Teach First Germany, an initiative that helps schools located in socially troubled neighbourhoods and managed to increase the number of GoGreen shipments from 145 to 700m. |

The recent Iceland volcano eruption and the disruption that was caused to flights into and out of the UK had an inevitable impact on the delivery of some parcels. Howard Hughes, Parcel2ship Operations Manager said ‘All couriers were affected but every effort was made to limit the delays and to operate as normally as possible. Parcel2ship worked with our couriers to minimise disruption and we thank customers for their patience during this difficult time. |
